IS THIS PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

This is our second home and we have 5 children who love being here. We also have a number of amenities for babies and children to make life easier. However, there are steep stairs, sharp corners and nice things - so parents must be willing to supervise their children properly and at all times. The garden is a magical garden for children to explore and play under the supervision of their parents. Parents should note that the brook is unfenced - although there is dense shrubbery between the garden and the brook and a gate before the waterfall making access for children difficult, it is not, for determined children, impossible.

HAVE YOU INSTITUTED SPECIAL CLEANING PROCEDURES DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS?

Yes, as well as our normal cleaning routine, all surfaces are wiped down with alcohol and soft furnishings steam cleaned. We ask that during this time, guests gather up all used linen and towels and place them in the bags provided to minimise contact for the cleaners. We are leaving 2 days between all bookings for thorough cleaning. If you or any person in your group develops symptoms whilst staying in the house, please let us know so we can take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our cleaners and manager.

HOW DO YOU TAKE AND REFUND THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?

We use a third party app to place a hold on your credit card. This means that we do not actually take the deposit but are able to deduct any amount up to £200 if there is any damage or the property needs extra cleaning time.

HOW DO YOU PROCESS PAYMENT?

We accept most major credit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. When you book, you will be charged 30% of the booking straight away. 6 weeks prior to your arrival, we will send you a payment request for the balance plus any cleaning fee if applicable.
